Our Vision
It’s a hub for the rural economy, a place where local producers and brands have a route to market via our Once Brewed Café and Sill Shop; it’s a centre and base for learning from early years to higher education; a driver for the Northumberland economy; a celebration and a reminder of the importance of landscape in understanding who we are as a nation, and a place to emphasise the importance of its care.
We aim to attract 100,000 visitors and 50,000 overnight stays on and off site with over 30,000 individual activity days to connect people with the landscape in one of the region’s two World Heritage Sites and the region’s only National Park.
Our vision is to transform how people connect with landscape and to inspire a new generation and generations to come.
