An exciting free offer from Northumberland National Park.
1100km of paths… 424 scheduled ancient monuments…. endangered species… unique plants… How much do you know about Northumberland?
What is a National Park? Why are they, and Northumberland in particular, so special? In this interactive assembly, pupils will get the chance to find out about the unique qualities of Northumberland National Park, and discover how and why we protect the area.
This in-school assembly is a great introduction to the possibilities for outdoor learning in the area – habitats, geology, history, culture, and more – and a chance to discover more about the amazing local landscape.
Please note we can also deliver this session in The Sill, or online if your school is unable to welcome external visitors on site.
This activity is free of charge, however a small contribution towards our travel costs is requested (up to £20)
