Age Group: KS2 - 5 Subjects: Science, Geography, History

This introductory session begins with an introduction to Northumberland National Park and its special qualities. Pupils will then take a tour of The Sill and find out all about the building – how it was designed and built, which plants grow on the living roof, and what makes it so unique. Learn about the role landscape plays in our lives; how it influences us, how we influence it, and how it inspired us to get active and be creative.

This is a perfect introduction for groups staying at The Sill, setting the scene for further exploration of the Northumberland landscape.
