Navigating the National Park

In this practical full day session, pupils will learn navigation skills and put them into practice.

The morning session includes information and activities all about maps –  exploring the different types, and discovering who might use them. Pupils will use this information to make their own map and key of The Sill building.

After lunch, our navigation guide will work with the pupils outside for a practical activity, using specific equipment to learn map reading and navigation skills.
