Age Group: KS1 - 2 Subjects: Science

Join Ace of Space Astronomy at The Sill for a fun and engaging workshop exploring the cosmos. Starting within our own solar system, we will explore the planets and some of the satellites, before heading out into deep space to rendezvous with the stars. Students will also learn about light pollution, and Northumberland National Park’s International Dark Skies Park status.

Ace of Space have been delivering astronomy experiences for children and adults of all ages and abilities for over 18 years and are happy to help tailor-make an experience to link in where possible with your school’s astronomy topic.

This session is available to book during the day and in the evening for guests at the YHA. For evening bookings, there will be the opportunity to do some stargazing outside (weather permitting).
