Northumberland National Park Recovery Curriculum
The wild landscapes, beautiful countryside, and cultural heritage of Northumberland make it a perfect place for people to come to recover together. Our Recovery Curriculum is designed to help school communities as they work together to re-instate a love of learning amongst their pupils, following the recent period of uncertainty.
It became more obvious than ever during lockdown that a connection with the outdoors is vitally important for young people’s wellbeing. Our Recovery Curriculum is underpinned by this principle, using creative ways of getting schools involved in the National Park learning programme, while also focussing on a reconnection with the landscape. The flexible approach allows schools to engage remotely, as well as accessing some of our facilitated sessions if they can do so.
Explore the options below, or contact us via our enquiry form for more information. The programme is flexible, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss alternative options for your group.
