Helping your school
Culture Bridge North East is working in partnership with The Sill to support the delivery of Discover at Home Arts Award. This is a fantastic opportunity to keep children and young people engaged in arts and creativity while they are at home.
The landscapes of Northumberland provide endless inspiration for all art forms, from wildlife photography to landscape paintings to poetry inspired by the spectacular scenery. The Sill Learning Team can run Arts Award packages in school, but we would also like to encourage young people to take part while at home, being inspired by nature in your own local environment.
If you would like to achieve a Discover Arts Award with the help of The Sill staff, please contact us at [email protected] Participants will receive a digital copy of our Discover Arts Award logbook and have the opportunity to have their work entered for moderation later in the year, in order to receive an official Arts Award certificate from Trinity College.
Make sure to check out our recent Arts Award at Home blog post, which is full of information and ideas about how you can get creative.
