The Lost Spells: Listening to a Landscape of Voices is now closed

Discover The Lost Spells: Listening to a Landscape of Voices, an enchanting new exhibition and programme of activity at The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre and Northumberland National Park.

Inspired by the beautiful new book, The Lost Spells, which features artwork and words by the beloved creators of The Lost Words – artist Jackie Morris and writer Robert Macfarlane – this innovative programme will launch on Saturday 23rd July 2022.

Written to be read aloud, each spell-poem in The Lost Spells conjures an animal, bird, tree or flower with which we share our lives and landscapes. The Lost Spells: Listening to a Landscape of Voices will echo the book’s meaning with an immersive exhibition, series of events and activities, exploring the everyday species found in both The Lost Spells and the tranquil landscape of Northumberland National Park.

Celebrate nature’s power to amaze, console and bring joy through the exhibition and events programme, and feel inspired to learn, love and listen to the National Park’s wildlife and habitats.
