Printmaker

Carol Nunan is an artist and printmaker living and working in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country in Northumberland. Her work is inspired by the striking landscapes and flora and fauna of the area. You will find several items for sale in our shop at The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre.

A graduate of The National College of Art & Design, Dublin, her career as a graphic designer began in Irish television at RTE to a variety of design studios and international advertising agencies in Ireland and South Africa and finally as the design manager at Procter & Gamble.

Stumbling into printmaking by accident thanks to a Saturday workshop and a day free of the demands of small children, there began a love affair with handmade prints.
