The Sill team pays this year’s circus-themed Sele Picnic a visit

Today, The Sill team will be stopping off at the Sele Picnic in the Park, in Hexham, between 10am and 2pm.

The circus themed event is open to all under 5's in the West Northumberland area and The Sill project team will be joining in the fun and games with some seed bomb making sessions during the event. The team will also be talking to parents, childminders and toddler group leaders about the exciting range of initiatives on offer from The Sill project.

Georgia Villalobos, Learning and Participation Coordinator for The Sill project, said: “The Sele Picnic in the Park is always a great event for little ones and we’re looking forward to teaching them some fun facts about the rural environment and wildflowers. Children at the event will have the opportunity to have-a-go at making seed bombs out of clay and seeds, which they can then take home with them afterwards to plant.

“We’ll also have lots of information to hand for anyone wanting to find out more about The Sill project and the exciting range of learning and participation activities we are currently developing.”
